Multiversal Miami 2010: From Grassroots Arts to Nationally Recognized Cross Discipline Showcase in Three Years
Miami, FL. – 10/25/2011 – Multiversal Miami 2011 announces its third year art fair in the Wynwood Arts District for showcase held from December 1st through 4th 2011.
During its debut Multiversal Miami drew 4,000 visitors and established the show as a fan favorite thanks to its combination of live music performances, fashion exhibitions, and eclectic mix of art on display. Only a year later, Multiversal provided a one-of-a kind experience for over 9,000 attendees. Multiversal continues to serve as a platform for emerging and established artist to gain exposure and expand their reach within the community.
This year Multiversal Miami will feature over 120 artists that represent both local talent and international aesthetics. The roster highlights talent from across the creative spectrum. Visitors will see the best in fine art, street art, and everything in-between. Featured artist include Glenn Arthur, Stuntkid, Mauricio Murillo, Cate Rangel, Mary Spring, Kelly McKernan, Ruben Ubiera, Richard Alan Haugh, Dekal, Dubelyoo, Marcello Ibanez, Ed King, Floyd, Crsitina Rivera, Victor- Hugo Vaca II, Freddy Chelsea Greene among others.
Multiversal Miami 2011 will hold this year’s annual cross-discipline creative showcase in a 4,500 sq. ft. open-air tented space- right in the heart of Wynwood Arts District to better accommodate its artists and attendees. (On the corner of NW 24th Street and NW 2nd Avenue) Multiversal Miami will be held concurrently with Art Basel Miami, an event often called “the most prestigious art show in the Americas.”
