Haitian relief deals appeared to be a quid pro quo for filling the coffers of the Clintons.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n For the first time in 50 years, Haiti awarded two new gold mining permits and one of them went to the company that had hired Hillary\u2019s brother,\u00a0Hugh Rodham, who\u00a0mysteriously found himself on the advisory board of a U.S. mining company called VCS. In October of 2013, despite his never having any\u00a0mining experience, VCS\u00a0brought Hugh Rodham\u00a0on board to help secure a valuable gold mining permit in Haiti.
