Ironically, “Live Young Girls” was displayed at the Art Basel 2011 Hidden Treasures Exhibition with special guest performances by VH1 Reality Star and recording artist Jane Castro a.k.a. Jei, Moonshyne Brown, Liyah, Andre Bush, James Enders, Jeannette C. Romeu and the Maverick Artist Victor-Hugo at Vinyl and Kai to raise awareness about the theft of artwork from Shock Nightclub.
This work of modern-art-gonzo journalism is now listed with Interpol and The Art Loss Register, according to Miami Beach police detectives who investigated Cases #2010-133-858 and #2011-134-200, which reported the theft of “Live Young Girls” from Vinyl and Kai 1131 Washington Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida after the Art Basel 2011 Hidden Treasures Exhibition.
Despite surveillance cameras being located at all entrance and exits as well as throughout the popular music venue, detectives never viewed the footage to ascertain who stole the artist print, created as an alternative option for the Shock Nightclub interior design. For several reasons, this stolen work of art is hard to miss, so please, if you see “Live Young Girls” anywhere, please notify police or call 954-655-7629 and leave a message with your contact information for a reward if this stolen work of art is found and returned to The Victor-Hugo Collection. You must be logged in to post a comment.
